An Agency saddled with the responsibility of making the Niger-Delta region economically vible and sustainable through developmental initiatives geared towards transforming lives and the environment of the region. Our Essence is to establish a people-driven transformation platform which provides programmes and projects that are relevant and meet the needs of it beneficiaries. Alongside infrastructural development (which was long neglected over the years in the region), phenomenal improvement exists in the area of empowerment via Agriculatural and scholarships in numerous studies within and outside Nigeria. Our strategy is Public-Private Partnership with which a regular engagement of partners and stakeholders is adopted in the transformation process for the region. We presently have in place effective internal control system and defined work processes, workflows and interfaces within various different directorates and departments within the commission. Consequently decentralizing the initial bureaucrasy. State offices are now empowered adequately to be closest to the people at grassroot level.
