Community Mates aims simply to bring people, businesses and charities together. We: 1) help people and businesses find charities or volunteer organisations that allow them to donate their time rather than funds; 2) help nfps find volunteers; and 3) promote existing volunteer work as well as businesses that contribute to their community. Community Mates' mission is to change people’s perception about volunteer & community work from something that is simply done for the greater good and as giving up one's own time into something that is fun, enjoyable and commonplace. Where volunteer work is seen as an opportunity to spend time with friends and meet new people as well as do something that is good for the community!
