Volunteering Waikato is a community organisation that recruits and refers volunteers within the Waikato Region. If you want to volunteer in the community - you're in the right place! If your organisation needs volunteers - look no further! Mission: To enrich lives and communities through volunteering. What we do: Volunteering Waikato currently works with around 300 community organisations, helping them find the volunteers they need to provide their services. We also help those who choose to volunteer to find the right role to meet their needs. We place individual volunteers, groups of volunteers (friends, families, church groups, training groups etc), and well as corporate groups. Through our Corporate Volunteering programme we support local businesses to contribute to their communities by offering and brokering a range of projects - all with direct benefit to a local non-profit organisation. Corporate Volunteering is an effective and low cost team building exercise - with many benefits to your team and to the community.
