Reliable Contractors have been providing contingency labour supporting tier one contractors on major infrastructure projects for over 40 years. As a family run business integrity has been incorporated into all our business relationships and has been the foundation on which all our decisions have been made.
In 1974 Reliable Contractors Limited was involved in building the world’s 2nd largest move able flood barrier – London’s Thames Barrier – helping to prevent the floodplains of most of Greater London from being flooded by the high tides and storm surges from the North Sea. Soon after, we were involved in the construction of one of Britain’s busiest motorway networks – the M25 – encircling almost all of Greater London.
We then began work on the Olympic Park in 2007 in preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games and had an ongoing presence until the opening of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in April 2014, then over the years our continuous investment in our people combined with our consultative approach has seen us also become an established supplier of tunnelling personnel for all forms of tunnelling works and shaft sinking projects. In 2009 Reliable Contractors Limited began work on several of Europe’s largest infrastructure Crossrail projects including The Western Tunnel Drive between Royal Oak and Farringdon stations along with Major SCL works at various stations en route.
