FRIGID New York is an independent theater festival that takes place in the East Village every winter. It is part of the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF) and is dedicated to CAFF's principles of supporting independent producing artists. FRIGID's audience has grown by almost 50% in the three years since its founding and many FRIGID shows have gone on to win NY Innovative Theatre Awards and other honors.
