Tailored Films is an award winning Irish film production company. It was established in 2006 by Irish National Film School graduates Ruth Treacy and Julianne Forde.
After focusing on corporate projects for the first few years of business - and after producing the hugely successful Zombie Bashers TV series in 2010 - Tailored Films produced their first award winning Irish Film Board funded feature film ‘Stitches’ in 2012. Stitches was theatrically released in over 100 cinemas in the UK and Ireland, and it sold worldwide. After producing this film, Tailored Films began developing a new slate of feature films funded by the Irish Film Board. Most of these projects are focused on topics which are supernatural, science fiction related or thrillers in theme.
Tailored Films have also produced five children’s TV series for national broadcaster RTE including the interactive drama ‘Spooky Stakeout’, the mystery drama series 'Miss Mogul', the reality series ‘Life Lessons’ and the 36 part popular comedy series ‘Tim’s Tactical Tips’. Tailored Films went on to produce a Spooky Stakeout feature film in 2016 which was financed by RTE and the sales agency MPI Media Group.
In 2016, Tailored Films produced the gothic ghost story The Lodgers written by David Turpin and directed by Brian O'Malley (Let us Prey). The film was funded by the Irish Film Board and Epic Pictures Group. It stars Bill Milner, Charlotte Vega, Eugene Simon and David Bradley and enjoyed its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2017. Tailored Films currently has a slate of approximately six projects in development including three with the Irish Film Board, as well as a number of TV projects.
Alongside its creative slate, Tailored Films continues to produce high quality videos for corporate clients such as the OPW, Diageo, DIT, Trinity College, the FAI, Ibec, the Dept. of Education and the European Commission. So far the company has produced over 550 corporate projects.
