ELSA (European Law Students' Association) is the world's largest independent law students' association. It comprises a membership of 60.000 students and recent graduates with the purpose to contribute to legal education, fostering mutual understanding and promoting the social responsibility of law students and young lawyers.
ELSA operates primarily through its local groups, which are located at nearly 430 universities throughout 43 countries in Europe.
