This page aims to inform about the current research and education program of the Department of Product Development, Faculty of Design Sciences, University of Antwerp. Both in education and research, we focus on the creation of innovative products, services, and systems that improve human well-being. We believe in an open design community for multiple stakeholders (including industry, academy, policy, and society) to develop and share knowledge (via ideas, methods, tools, and prototypes) on the interaction between humans, technology, and nature through a playful and safe environment for experimental design research.
