West Moreton Health provides health and wellbeing services to the Somerset, Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley and Ipswich communities.
We serve a population of 280,000 people across 9,521 square kilometres, from Esk in the north, Gatton and Laidley to the west, Springfield and Ipswich in the east and Boonah to the south.
We provide preventative and primary health care services, ambulatory services, acute care, sub-acute care and oral health, mental health and other specialised services (including prison health services and alcohol and other drugs services) to our region.

West Moreton Health provides Queensland’s only forensic mental health inpatient beds – the High Security Inpatient Service (HSIS), the Extended Forensic Treatment Rehabilitation Unit (EFTRU) and the Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (SMHRU).
