Located in the heart of downtown Morganton, Morganton Day School serves kindergarten through 8th-grade students in a supportive, caring learning environment. Morganton Day School uses the International Baccalaureate® curriculum, a programme driven by student inquiry. Harnessing a child’s natural curiosity prompts them to explore, ask questions and seek out information while establishing their own unique understanding of a topic. This discovery deepens disciplinary comprehension, allowing students to make connections and transfer learning to new contexts. Teachers use real-life concepts and encourage students to process the information and connect it to their own experiences and the world around them. At Morganton Day School, cognitive and social development occurs through grade-level coursework and during our four enrichment opportunities: Spanish, art, physical education, and music.
