As a whole, the Student Technology Collaborative (STC) employs about two hundred students in several information technology roles at Yale. There are four programs, each with their own requirements and responsibilities. Read more about the programs in STC below.
IT Technicians:
The STC IT Technicians assist undergraduate and graduate students with software and hardware issues. Assistance is available via phone, email, and our walk-in centers.
Digital Media Technicians:
The STC Digital Media Technicians are a network of students dedicated to the use and education of digital media across campus.
Computer Cluster Technicians:
The STC Computer Cluster Technicians manage computer labs and printing clusters across the entire Yale campus ensuring all students have the ability to print and access advanced software in computer labs whenever needed.
Software Developers:
The Student Developer and Mentorship Program (SDMP) trains student employees to work on coding projects in a variety of mainstream programming languages.
