Doctors Care provides access to affordable health care, through a coalition of health care providers, to the medically underserved in South Metro Denver.
What We Do:
Doctors Care offers medical service in two unique ways:
1. The Doctors Care Clinic operates five days per week providing sick- and well-care visits to children and young adults age 30 and under who need to be seen onsite. Our clinic accepts patients with Medicaid, CHP+, the Doctors Care Sliding-Fee-Scale and those who are uninsured for a low flat rate. For more information about our clinic, click here.
2.Uninsured patients of any age may enroll in the Doctors Care Sliding-Fee-Scale Program. Nearly 900 primary and specialty care physicians in 91 different specialties comprise the volunteer network. Additionally, five major inpatient medical centers in South Metro Denver (Swedish Medical Center, Porter Adventist Hospital, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Sky Ridge Medical Center, and Parker Adventist Hospital) and their respective laboratories and pharmacies participate by making services available and affordable to Doctors Care patients enrolled in this program.
In addition, any patient who utilizes either the Doctors Care Clinic or the Sliding-Fee-Scale Program may access mental health services onsite. Counseling and psychiatric medication management are both available, and our mental health providers coordinate care with primary care providers to ensure integrated care for all patients.
