Oxford University Labour Club is the largest university Labour club in the UK. Founded in 1919, OULC has been promoting democratic socialism and progressive politics in Oxford for nearly a hundred years.
We’re an active campaigning force; at the 2017 General Election, we helped our local CLP hold Oxford East with an increased majority of 65.2%, and organised campaigning trips to the nearby marginals of Battersea, Kensington, Hampstead, and Croydon Central. As well as getting our members out on the #labourdoorstep, we take positive action to promote social justice and equality within the universities and the wider Oxford community. Whether you’re a fresher or a finalist, Oxford or Brookes, OULC welcomes any member of the university who’s interested in the aims and values of the Labour movement.
