Welde is diversified into two business areas - in production and trade On the one hand, plywood and hardboard are produced and sold worldwide. On the other hand, Welde operates wholesale companies offering a wide range of wood-based materials in Bulgaria, Romania and the Czech Republic. In addition, large quantities of sawn timber are traded in Central Europe via Vienna. Welde was founded in 1989 by Ewald Welde in Vienna initially as a timber trading company and very early on the company started producing plywood and hardboard. Since then, the production and trading activities have been steadily expanded. Today, the production and trading areas form a perfect symbiosis for the successful achievement of its corporate goals.
