Queensland Justices Association aims to be the pre-eminent organisation for Queensland's honorary justices. Our mission is to be the is the centre of excellence through a combination of leadership, professional development and advocacy.
Founded in 1918, the QJA has a long history of providing professional development and support to its members. QJA now has accreditation as an RTO (registered training organisation; Registration no 31906) and is the largest provider of training for Justices of the Peace and Commissioners for Declarations. Our trainers are not just qualified as trainers they are long standing active Justices of the Peace and members of our organisation. Our members are active in the community and provide services at shopping centres, libraries and courthouses throughout Queensland. We engage actively in advocacy - working closely with the Attorney-department.
We are not funded by government or business and so we stand for integrity, honour and respect.
