The San Francisco Maritime National Park Association is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring maritime history to life through serving as the educational and philanthropic partner of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park and stewards of the U.S. Navy's World War II submarine, USS Pampanito, berthed at Pier 45.
Annually, the SF Maritime National Park is visited by over 4 million-plus visitors with over 10,000 youth/students participating in maritime education programs on the historic vessels docked at Hype Street Pier. The USS Pampanito submarine, located at Pier 45 in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, is visited by an estimated 100,000 guest. WOW!
