Transplant Links Transplant Links (TLC) is a UK registered charity that saves the lives of children and adults in the developing world who suffer from fatal kidney disease we are the only Charity that currently does this. We carry out living kidney transplants (often with a parent giving a kidney to save the life of their own child) and provide support services after the team has returned to the UK, maintaining a long-term link, helping each unit to learn and grow; sharing our knowledge with local medical teams means that a sustainable transplant programmes can develop in the long term, helping them to expand their skills to run their own life-saving transplant programmes.
