The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) is a consortium dedicated to advancing higher education in the region through active collaboration, resource and knowledge building, and effective professional development programs. Formed in 1967, the consortium of colleges, universities, and businesses acts as a facilitator and advocate, providing programs that focus on the continuous improvement and cooperation of higher education. As the collaborative infrastructure for higher education in southwestern Ohio, SOCHE helps colleges and universities transform their communities and economies through the education, employment, and engagement of over 150,000 students.
