Orey Financial - Instituição Financeira de Crédito, SA, is a financial company that has been in the marketplace since 2004. Throughout its history it has been renowned for the launch of innovative financial products and solutions on the domestic market and, in some cases, on the international market, too. In the online brokerage area its business is carried on in Portugal, where it occupies a leading position in several business areas and, since later 2008, it has expanded its business to Spain. In asset management the Company provides the market with portfolio-management services, with emphasis on Advisory and Discretionary Management services, besides the concept of innovative mutual funds. During 2007 the Company started operating in the field of urban rehabilitation, one of the first institutions to set up an urban rehabilitation fund. Later on, in 2009, as a result of the repositioning of the Orey Group, it extended its activities into the Private Equity area as well, through the launch of Orey Capital Partners, a fund specialized in the management of businesses in the Transport & Logistics sector.
