The lowest-numbered active license in the state of Nevada belongs to Wells Cargo, Inc., a family business started by Howard A Wells Sr. and his two brothers in 1935. What began as a one truck operation that hauled goods to the lumber and mining camps in sierra Nevada has since become a diverse construction, mining, transportation, and land development company. Wells Cargo is entering its 3rd generation of leadership under Guy Wells who serves as President/CEO.
