Ivy Ventures LLC was founded in 2003 by Roger Johnson and Doug Wetmore, who have extensive background in developing and operating outpatient imaging centers. Their imaging centers prospered largely at the expense of hospital providers by starting with patient access improvements to provide distinctive customer service to patients and physicians.
Ivy’s business plan from the beginning was to develop assessment tools, operational programs, and strategies specifically for integrated health systems to help them “think and act like an imaging center.” Operating like an imaging center enables a hospital to provide a premium level of patient care and take full advantage of the imaging industry’s financial opportunities.
Ivy has since expanded to help hospitals nationwide with other service lines in addition to radiology. These include outpatient rehabilitation, inpatient rehabilitation, hyperbaric care, wound care, sleep centers, and bariatric surgery.
