Aurora Behavioral Health System is comprised of two Level 1, acute-care hospitals totaling 238 beds, Aurora East and Aurora West. Both hospitals offer a voluntary intake process and free assessments available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Both hospitals are licensed by the state of Arizona and by the Arizona Department of Health Services Office of Behavioral Health and accredited from the Joint Commission of Accreditation on Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Aurora West treats adolescents, adults and the geriatric population via its Decades program. Aurora East treats adults as well as has specialized, focused treatment for the adolescent population.
