Friends In Deed is an interfaith organization that provides supportive services to meet basic human needs, so our homeless and at-risk neighbors can rebuild their lives through compassion, connection, and dignity. We are committed to *doing together what we cannot do alone.
Friends In Deed has 5 programs: Food Pantry, The Women’s Room, Bad Weather Shelter, Street Outreach & Housing, and Eviction Prevention & Rental Assistance.
Friends In Deed envisions a community where:
1. all members of the community possess the resources and opportunity to lead productive and meaningful lives, where they can not only survive, but thrive, and are able to pursue the quality of life to which all are entitled.
2. all enjoy a safe arena in which to be listened to, encouraged, and respected so as to promote self-worth and dignity.
3. the community takes an active role in promoting the welfare of others through advocacy, sharing personal and financial resources, and hands-on service.
