Our primary goal is to get you safely across the Kokoda Trail and ensure you have an enjoyable, challenging and informative historical and cultural experience. Adventure Kokoda is a specialist Kokoda trekking company. We have the most professional and experienced trek leaders - our team has 160 years combined military experience - we have led more than 600 expeditions safely across the trail over the past 30 years. We specialise in the wartime history of the Kokoda campaign. Our trek itineraries are designed to ensure you get the maximum benefit from your pilgrimage across the Kokoda Trail. We are the only trekking company to provide for the welfare of our PNG guides and carriers by issuing them with sleeping bags, sleeping mats and a full trek uniform. Adventure Kokoda have a Registered Company in PNG and a Foreign Enterprise Certificate; both are a requirement to legally operate in PNG. Having a 'Tour Operators License' from the Kokoda Track Authority is not sufficient. We operate from a secure lodge at Sogeri which has 24/7 back-up communications and our own helipad for emergencies.
