Bioenergy Europe (formerly AEBIOM) is the common voice of the bioenergy sector, with the aim of developing a sustainable bioenergy market based on fair business conditions. Founded in 1990, it brings together 40 national associations and approximately 90 companies from all over Europe.
Bioenergy Europe hosts the European Pellet Council (EPC) and the International Biomass Torrefaction Council (IBTC), which are umbrella organisations representing the interests of the European wood pellet sector and wood torrefaction industries respectively.
