Welcome to the Transmission! Star Transmission (Cugir) and Star Assembly (Sebes) are manufacturers of components, devices and transmissions serving the international production footprint of Mercedes-Benz AG. The Sebeş location assembles transmissions for Mercedes-Benz. The Cugir plant is home to the production of gears, shafts, high-pressure pipes and mechanically processed components for engines, transmissions and steering systems, as well as a technology center with i.a. prototype production.
