Following Greece's rich maritime tradition, the Laboratory for Maritime Transport (LMT) of NTUA is active in practically all areas of maritime transport and energy R&D, having completed or being involved in projects in areas such as technology, management, economics, logistics, finance, human aspects, environment, safety and security. LMT has implemented projects regarding environmental analysis and shipping emissions funded by Det Norske Veritas, Lloyd’s Register Fund, and the American Bureau of Shipping.
