The Bulgarian Libertarian Society is the only organization in Bulgaria which defends the ideas ot individual liberty, a person's right to life, property-rights that people have naturally, and the non-aggression principle. The society had its origins as a union of several libertarian youth clubs in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Gabrovo, Blagoevgrad. The first of which started its operation in the spring of 2012 with a series of events in Sofia. The organization and all local clubs are members of the International Network of Students For Liberty.
