KG Group of Companies was formed in the 1930s by Business Tycoon K Gunaratnam. The Group is primarily involved in Cinema and film production, and still owns the largest chain of Cinemas Island wide in Sri Lanka. The group also diversified into several other manufacturing businesses which include writing instruments, plastics, textile, & printing. The Group also started the Reynolds Pen Business in India under GM Pens in the 1980's.
