Zion Lutheran Preschool offers preschool programs to nurture the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of children, ages 2 to 5, in an atmosphere of fun and play. While serving the children in a preschool setting, Zion also provides before- and after-preschool care hours and summer camp to better support and serve the needs of working parents. Our school is open from 7:30-5:00 pm on weekdays. Established in 1981. Zion Lutheran Preschool has maintained its high standards of nurturing and educating young children for 30 years! Zion opened its doors on January 2, 1981, with two teachers and one child. As the need for quality Christian childcare was noted and the trend for children to socialize outside their own backyards became a norm, our school began to grow. We had larger enrollments each year, prompting the hiring of more teachers and teaching assistants. The curriculum was further developed to encompass developmental and educational milestones for each age group that we serve. Over the past 30 years, word of our program spread throughout the community, and Zion Lutheran Preschool has become one of the area's popular, premier choices for preschool education.
