Çankaya University possesses 5 faculties with 20 departments; two institutes with 19 postgradute master programs and 6 Ph.D programs; 2 vocational schools with 3 programs; and one English preparatory school to support English language education. An academic year consists of two semesters; each semester must have at least fourteen weeks. In all faculties, institutes and in the Vocational Training School, instruction is on a semester basis. Students In the academic year 2016-2017, the number of students who registered for Çankaya University is 1309. Total number of students attending Çankaya University is 8653. Çankaya University is in collaboration with universities in Europe and in the USA. "Collaboration Protocols" of Çankaya University with Arizona State University, Houston and Texas Universities in the USA, and Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Germany have been ratified by the Council of Higher Education, YÖK. In accordance with this exchange program, twenty students from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences have attended summer school at Houston University in 2001, and three students from the same faculties in 2002.
