The Dayton Council on World Affairs is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that has served the Dayton region for 70 years by educating and engaging our local community with global programs. DCOWA believes that the more we understand the world around us, the better we will be positioned to meet the challenges ahead. We draw our Board of Directors from a diverse group of stakeholders, including business owners, attorneys, financial advisors, retired business executives, foundation experts, college professors, university students and community leaders. All have distinguished records of involvement in international activities and community service. While our Board draws from the community, we also partner with other Dayton area organizations and non-profit groups to expand our ability to respond to the needs of our increasingly diverse community.
