Euro-Mediterranean Resources Network (Euro-Mernet) is a not-for-profit, independent, non-aligned and non-partisan regional organisation, also a registered charity set up in 2001. We are run by a team of young local volunteers and international interns.
We specialise in news and information gathering, strategic research, publishing, broadcasting and training on community media, community arts, cultural heritage, youth empowerment, gender equality and social justice across the Euro-Mediterranean countries.
We run the following regular projects and activities:
- Radio Euro-Mernet (since 2010) for highlighting the global cultural diversity.
- Euro-Mernet Film Club (since 2011) for exploring the world cinema;
- Euro-Mernet Poetry Club (since 2016) for exploring the world poetry;
- Euro-Mernet Cultural Heritage Club (since 2016) for exploring the world history and cultural diversity with particular focus on Euro-Mediterranean region;
- Scribe Tribe (since 2018) creative writing course with focus on world cultural and literary traditions;
- Festivals, fairs & exhibitions on regional heritage, arts, literature and music.
