CBISD is located 50 miles south from the heart of downtown Houston, Texas and minutes away
from the Gulf of Mexico. The area has the charm of a small town with easy access to city
amenities. CBISD is a child-centered learning
environment which is reflected in exceptional student achievement in academics. The district encompasses 225 square miles and includes cities and communities in Brazoria,
Wild Peach and West Columbia.
Five campuses serve over 3,000 CBISD students each day. Barrow Elementary is located in Brazoria, Texas and serves grades
Pre-Kindergarten through six. Wild Peach Elementary is located in the community of Wild Peach and serves grades Kindergarten
through four. West Columbia Elementary is
located in West Columbia, Texas and serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through six. West Brazos Junior High is located in Brazoria, Texas
and serves grades seven and eight. WBJH is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified public school in
Texas. Columbia High School is located in
West Columbia, Texas and serves grades nine through twelve.
