Canadian Mental Health Association - BC Division
Our vision: Mentally healthy people in a healthy society.
Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is a national charity that helps maintain and improve mental health for all Canadians.
CMHA British Columbia Division (CMHA BC) works together with a network of local branches across BC, to provide a wide range of innovative mental health and substance use supports and services to British Columbians.
Every day we help British Columbians access the resources they need to maintain and improve mental health, build resilience and support recovery from mental illness and addiction. Together with our family of 14 CMHA branches in BC, we help over 120,000 people across 100 BC communities each year.
Our work is focused on prevention, early identification and intervention, treatment and recovery as well as advocating for mental health and substance use care to be treated equally to physical health care.
We strongly believe that mental health begins where you live, learn, work and play.
Together, we are making a difference.
