At Baby’s Space, a nonprofit early childhood center, we place the child at the center of a consistent, compassionate, relationship-based, parent-co-created childcare experience – and look at every aspect of that experience from the child’s point of view.
Because when all those in the village – parents, caregivers, neighbors, community members, teachers, donors, directors alike – look at the child’s development from that perspective, the child doesn’t merely soar higher...the child raises the village. Becoming a catalyst for change. For the better. For all.
We provide children and families with equitable opportunities for educational success. The Baby’s Space model leads a growing child-friendly social movement—in the wake of national welfare reform—to redesign our nation’s childcare and child development systems from a baby’s point of view.
Baby’s Space is spreading the word about what young children need for healthy development. At the same time, we’re showing practitioners and policy-makers how to make it happen.
