South Eastern Community Care (SEC Care) is a not for profit organisation which has operated for over 40 years.
We provide quality services to frail aged and disabled members of the community, as well as individuals identified with special needs.
At SEC Care, we provide a range of flexible home care and centre-based services to Tasmanians living in rural and regional areas, predominately in the south of the state.
SEC Care strives to empower members of the community with special needs to successfully live in their own homes and thrive in their communities.
We have Day Centres located at Sorell, Brighton and Orford, offering a wide range of services and activities for SEC Care clients and their carers.
Access to all services and programs is by referral from health professionals, referral agencies or by self-referral, which can be submitted through the My Aged Care Portal online at www.myagedcare.gov.au/referral.
We value and encourage support from the Tasmanian community, as the services we provide are dependent on funding, resources and availability of volunteers.
Quality care is provided by experienced and qualified staff and dedicated volunteers in accordance with National Standards and Program Guidelines.
