The safety of children is our highest priority. We work with registered teachers and other key stakeholders to help ensure education in Queensland schools is provided by teachers who meet Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and are ethical in their dealings with students. We accredit the initial teacher education programs taught in Queensland universities, to ensure teachers entering the classroom are of the highest quality.
