Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT P/L) is located 38 kilometres south of the North Queensland city of Mackay. Situated on Dalrymple Bay at the Port of Hay Point, the Terminal’s operations stretch over a distance of six kilometres.
Since commencing operations in 1983, DBCT P/L has established itself as a leading coal export facility. The terminal is an integral part of Australia's coal supply chain, ensuring reliability and continuity of coal supply from the Bowen Basin coal fields to the world export market.
As part of the world’s largest coal export port, DBCT P/L exports thermal and metallurgical coal and operates around the clock with a name plate capacity of 85 Mtpa.
