The mission of the US Math Recovery Council® is to transform numeracy education; to connect research with practice; and to empower educators to advance student mathematical thinking and success...through Math Recovery® principles. Math Recovery® programs identify and overcome core problems when young students struggle to learn and apply even the simplest numerical concepts. The objective is to intervene as early and quickly as possible before these at-risk students fall too far behind their peers. Math Recovery® is recognized around the world as a leader and innovator of mathematical intervention and numeracy. Our program is used extensively by school systems in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. USMRC oversees and manages the Math Recovery® program and its materials, methodology and related intellectual property in the United States.
