Regional Development Australia (RDA) Gold Coast is part of a national network of over 50 committees made up of local leaders who work with all levels of government, business and community groups to support the development of their regions.
We work in consultation with the community, business, not-for-profit organisations and all levels of government, to articulate local priorities, identify and align resources, engage stakeholders and promote solutions. In doing this we aim to support the growth and development of regional communities across the Gold Coast.
Further to this we support, promote and disseminate information on government policy initiatives for the benefit of our local community. To this end, Regional Development Australia committees have a strong understanding of federal, state and local government policies and initiatives and the ways in which local communities can engage with them.
This is why we strive to take a leadership role in bringing together organisations to take advantage of government programs, policies and initiatives.
Regional Development Australia is your conduit between the levels of governments which enables you to provide input to governments about the strengths and weaknesses of regional Australia.
