Founded in 1858, Blackheath FC is the oldest open rugby club in the world. The 1st XV plays in National Division 1, and the Women’s 1st XV plays in Championship South 1. Along with the social sides for the men (the Bandits and the Buccaneers) and the women (the Mighty 2s), the club also has thriving Juniors and Minis sections, with boys and girls of all ages participating in the sport.
