David’s philosophy on choosing wines: Good wine should tell of its origin – there must be an expression of terroir. Great wine should tell of its origin at twenty years. Wine should never be adulterated with characteristics or practices that cloud the true nature of the wine's origin. Three of the premier estates in the portfolio: Jean-Louis Chave, Max Ferdinand Richter and Domaine de la Solitude, have nearly 1,500 years combined viticulture and wine production experience.
