Gillingham Football Club are the only Kent-based club in the Football League and play their home matches at the 11,582 seater MEMS Priestfield Stadium. The Gills are currently competing in England's third tier of football, League One, after being promoted from League Two in 2012/13, finishing top in the club's centenary year. The club is also home to Kent's largest purpose built conferencing and banqueting venue, Priestfield.
