Brent International School Overview
Brent International School Manila is an international, coeducational, day school associated with the Episcopal Church in the Philippines. The Brent Manila family includes students from more than forty‐five countries. Within a Christian environment, the school seeks to help students to become rational, intellectually curious, and receptive to new ideas.
The Mission Statement of all Brent Schools states that, “Brent Schools, in a Christian ecumenical environment in the Philippines, are committed to develop individual students as responsible global citizens and leaders in their respective communities, with a multicultural and international perspective, and equipped for entry to colleges and universities throughout the world.”
Brent Manila has five divisions located on two campuses. The Early Learning Center (ELC – Nursery through Grade 2), the Lower School (LS – Grades 3 to 5), the Middle School (MS – Grades 6 to 8) and the Upper School (US – Grades 9 to 12) are located on the main campus in Barangay Mamplasan, Biñan, Laguna, approximately 20 kilometers south of Metro Manila. Our campus associated with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) is a Pre‐Kindergarten to Grade 4 School located on the IRRI compound in Los Baños, south of the main campus.
Brent Manila is recognized by the Department of Education in the Philippines and is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS). The school has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) since 1988 and is also recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization as an IB Diploma Program school.
