The Mission of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is to inspire, entertain, educate and challenge through innovative programs and symphonic music performed at the highest artistic level Founded in 1930, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra presents and performs hundreds of concerts every year. In addition to the many classical and pops concerts in its home, the magnificent Hilbert Circle Theatre, the Orchestra is regularly heard in communities around Indiana and at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie each summer.
