Since 2000, Skinkers has pioneered the use of the desktop as an alternative message delivery channel, producing applications for some of the world’s biggest and best-known organisations and brands such as the BBC, American Airlines, UPS, Virgin Atlantic and Microsoft.
In 2006, we started the development of the Live Notification Platform, a solution which would allow businesses to communicate on a one-to-one or one-to-many basis with their audience (B2E, B2B and B2C) across multiple devices including the desktop, smartphone, email and SMS.
This has since been deployed and used by the likes of Lloyds TSB, Aviva, Acer, Capital One and MBNA Bank of America.
In early 2009, Skinkers reignited the technical agency side of our business, working on a variety bespoke development projects and specialising in development of cross platform, cross device applications.
