Community Lutheran Church is a Congregation of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
MISSION
"Welcoming Others, Growing in Grace, Sharing Christ's Love"
Community Lutheran Church exists to let other people know they matter to God, as we let them know they matter to us. We share in Christ’s love for the world through our worship and learning, and seek to reach out in His name with witness and service to all people. We believe the Holy Spirit calls us to be an inviting, caring community.
EDUCATION
Whether you are young, or young at heart, we hope you will join us as we grow in God’s grace together and share His love through one of our many faith formation and service learning opportunities at Community. Beyond just reading and hearing the stories, our youth and family enjoy the fellowship of others as we connect our lives and actions to the teachings of the Old and New Testaments. Christian education and faith formation is an active and exciting piece of Community Lutheran’s ministry
. There is something for everyone each Sunday during the Education hour from 9:30-10:30am during the school year. We can’t wait to see you there!
