REANNZ (Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand Ltd) is a not-for-profit Crown-owned company that owns and operates a high-speed, high-performance network and associated services for New Zealand’s research, education, science and innovation communities. Our members include Universities, Crown Research Institutes, Wānanga, Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics. As New Zealand’s designated National Research and Education Network (NREN) REANNZ is also part of a global community of over 120 countries, who work together to support and enable collaboration between research organisations around the world. The REANNZ network supports the specialised needs of high-end science and research and links cross-institutional collaborative activities both in New Zealand and internationally.
