Rhine-Waal University was founded in 2009 with the stated goal of providing young people from around the world with an innovative, international and interdisciplinary education. HSRW with its campuses in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort offers 25 bachelor and 11 master programmes spread out over four faculties: Technology and Bionics, Life Sciences, Society and Economics, and Communication and Environment. Curriculum contents are scientific, application-oriented and international in their focus, with a high level of quality and practical relevance in both teaching and research. Some 75 percent of degree programmes are taught in English and currently more than 6,500 students from over 100 countries are enrolled at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. This diversity creates a unique intercultural exchange opportunity and helps prepare students for national and international job markets.
